Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be frightening for our furry friends. Help keep them safe with these important tips:
✅ Keep pets safely indoors before fireworks begin
✅ Ensure collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date
✅ Microchip your pets—it saves lives!
✅ Walk dogs early in the day before festivities start
✅ Keep doors and gates securely closed
✅ Create a quiet, safe indoor space with calming sounds
✅ Never bring pets to fireworks displays
✅ Keep harmful foods and items out of reach
✅ Talk to your vet about anxiety solutions if needed

These two happy puppies. Playing, clean and full bellies. That was last night … only the day before their lives were not this way ! Being force fed baking soda for worms and wandering the streets of South Memphis. I don’t know how the warrior woman that goes into these areas and rescues - barters - begs to save and place them does it but she is amazing. I am just glad we have them safe now in SNAR and commit to a wonderful life for them. We have yet to name them but I’m sure we will get more pics and names from their foster Jessica soon!!
