🚨 ESTHER UPDATE ! 🚨
Today we took our sweet Esther to the vet for her recheck, and we finally have some AMAZING news to share! 🙏🩷
✨ Her hematocrit is NORMAL!
✨ Her white blood cell count is NORMAL!
✨ And the BEST news of all… ESTHER IS STANDING!! 🙌😭
And not only is she standing our warrior princess even took a few steps today, y’all!! 🥹🐾
After everything this girl has been through battling Hepatozoon, seeing her on her feet feels like a HUGE victory!
Esther also received a medicated bath today. She has a small skin infection that we’re treating, and the vet increased some of her medications to keep helping her move in the right direction.
🙏 Esther still needs your prayers ALWAYS!
But right now, she also needs our help with her vet bill.

Esther update! Labs are looking steady! Weight is increasing! She is happier and definitely getting stronger! She hasn’t walked yet but she is trying to get moving she even scoots herself out of her 3 sided pen to potty !! We just know any minute she’s going to surprise us all and just walk on her own! But… we are also going to be using a “help me” sling / harness to get her on her feet so she can see her legs still work!! We appreciate everyone who continues to cheer her own!! Esther is up to 42 lbs !!! That’s 7 lbs since Tuesday AND she’s sitting up now !! We are so hopeful she’ll be able to stand and walk soon!!! Wow doesn’t she look good!!! Michelle continues to take amazing care! We do weekly labs and exams with Dr Katie and are optimistic for our amazing warrior princess!!! She’s such a strong sweet dog!!! Keep the prayers going!!!
