Esther got to enjoy some outside time last night with Michelle! Enjoyed some of the feels, sights and sounds of a late summer evening in Mississippi! She’s so lucky to have so many people cheering her on! She’ll be going back for some lab work and to see how she’s maintaining but her appetite has been awesome! Meet Sweet Tilly! Google identifies Tilly as a Jack Russell terrier / border collie mix! That’s as good a guess as any since we don’t know much about her mix or parents except what we can see on her physical characteristics.
We do know that Tilly is an amazing happy loving little pup she’s 10 weeks old loves other dogs cats people and pool lounging too! Tilly was being disposed of at a Walmart in northern Mississippi when an employee saved her life. She’s been in foster and being loved and spoiled rotten!! Ha ha the way we love puppies

Esther is on to the crunchy kibble!!! She’s a champ she’s gaining weight and strength every day!! We really can’t wait for her to get strong enough to get on her feet. Esther update!! Tell me we can’t do something; we will do it twice and take pictures!!!! Esther is sitting up and giving more “side eye” than I ever imagined she could, or would!
She gained a little over 3 lbs since Friday, her hematocrit is up, and her white count is down!!!!! She is going to live her very best life when we make it through this hurdle….wait and see!!!

Esther update !! It’s Monday night and we are seeing this warrior get stronger and it’s magical!! Look at her holding her head up looking around! Doesn’t she look brighter ??? She’s amazing she’s got a long fight ahead and lots of weight to gain but she looks like she’s headed in the right direction. Michelle is an amazing, loving and attentive foster - no doubt Esther is fighting hard to make her proud!! Dr Katie deserves thanks to for helping get the right diagnosis and right treatment !! Thank you everyone for praying for her!! We thank you all who have donated too !! You are all blessings to Esther and all of SNAR !! Katie is a gorgeous 6-year-old Great Pyrenees and about 90 pounds of pure love, fluff, and personality. She is one of those dogs who absolutely LOVES her people. She hasn’t met a stranger she doesn’t like and is happiest simply being part of whatever you’re doing.
She’ll follow you around, lean in for affection, make you laugh with her goofy personality, and look at you like you are the most important person in the entire world. 🥹❤️

Today was a good day for Esther ! She has not wanted to drink plain water much but she did today. She held her head up great and turned it around and looked around … and the best part of today SHE WAGGED HER TAIL WHEN MICHELLE WAS TALKING TO HER !! That’s a first !! We are so excited that she might be feeling better. I mean she’s showing us everyday she’s giving all she has to get stronger !! We are so thankful to everyone who continues to pray for her and cheer her on!!
